AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Sylvania SilverStar Headlights
This awareness campaign aimed to engage the typical Canadian family by connecting their number one vacation activity (ie. road tripping) with one of the most essential, yet often overlooked, technologies in road safety today – the automobile headlight. Sylvania SilverStars’ promise that their lamps allow drivers to see farther, see wider and see better, makes driving those long roads with the family safer and more care-free. To support this awareness among consumers, an online draw was created wherein Sylvania challenged Canadians to show the rest of the country how they “See Canada” by posting photos from recent road trips with the hashtag #SeeCanadaBetter. The contest drew over 500K entries in 2 weeks – an engagement that was 27% higher than any other SilverStar awareness initiative to-date.
